What is The Flat Cat?

The Flat Cat is the studio of Shir Knobler and Dor Zach — partners in creativity and in life.

Our projects blend design, writing, creative direction and comedy — across animation, video, comics, social media and more. We create them for cultural and media organizations, nonprofits, tech companies and commercial clients — and sometimes just for fun. Clients and organizations we've worked with include Keshet, Kan, National Geographic, the Israeli Opera, 1202, the Society for the Protection of Nature, Halasartan, the Lioness Alliance and more.

Previously we wrote personal columns and the comics series "Gender Shmender" for the magazine Liberal. We also created the podcast "Dumb Teens" about 90s Israeli youth magazines.

We'd love to hear about your project — get in touch.
